Dandi Holder

Secretary | Sports Director | The Lo’i Collective Foundation

Dandi Holder serves as Treasurer of The Loʻi Collective Foundation, bringing decades of experience in athletics, coaching, business, youth development, and community service to the organization.

A longtime volleyball coach and former student-athlete, Dandi has built an accomplished coaching career in Hawaiʻi high school volleyball. After serving as an assistant coach at St. Francis School, she became the boys volleyball head coach and guided the Saints to back-to-back HHSAA Division II State Championships in 2018 and 2019. Following the 2018 championship season, Dandi was recognized as the Honolulu Star-Advertiser Boys Volleyball Coach of the Year.

After the closure of St. Francis School, Dandi continued her coaching career at Damien Memorial School. In 2021, she led the Damien boys volleyball program to its first ILH Division II championship in school history. She has continued coaching at Damien, working with both the boys and girls volleyball programs and developing student-athletes through an emphasis on fundamentals, discipline, hard work, teamwork, and family.

Dandi’s connection to volleyball began as an athlete herself, playing at St. Andrew’s Priory. Her experiences as both a player and coach have shaped her belief that athletics can provide young people with lessons, confidence, and relationships that extend well beyond the court.

In addition to her extensive athletic background, Dandi earned an Associate of Arts degree in Medical Office Administration from Heald College and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Management from the University of Phoenix. Her education and professional experience complement the leadership, organization, and accountability she brings to The Loʻi Collective.

As Treasurer and a member of TLC’s volunteer leadership team, Dandi combines her business education, organizational skills, and years of experience developing young athletes to support the foundation’s financial oversight, planning, and accountability. She works alongside fellow board members to create meaningful opportunities for Hawaiʻi’s youth, athletes, families, and communities through sports, wellness, education, and community engagement.

For Dandi, coaching has always been about more than wins and championships. It is about developing young people, building relationships, creating a sense of family, and helping athletes become confident and responsible individuals. That same philosophy carries into her work with The Loʻi Collective and its commitment to serving Hawaiʻi’s next generation.
