Sam Marques serves as a Director of The Loʻi Collective Foundation, bringing decades of professional leadership, coaching, mentoring, and service to Hawaiʻi’s youth and communities.

A graduate of Roosevelt High School, Sam has built a successful professional career with Maui Divers Jewelry, where he has worked for 22 years and currently serves as Director of Operations. His extensive experience in operations, leadership, teamwork, and organizational management brings valuable business knowledge and perspective to his role with The Loʻi Collective.

For more than a decade, Sam has also dedicated his time to coaching and mentoring student-athletes. His coaching experience includes serving with the St. Francis boys volleyball program, where he was part of the coaching staff that helped guide the Saints to an HHSAA Division II State Championship in 2018.

Following the closure of St. Francis School, Sam continued his commitment to student-athletes at Damien Memorial School, where he has remained involved with the volleyball program and continues to serve as an assistant coach.

As a Director of The Loʻi Collective, Sam combines more than two decades of professional leadership with his years of coaching and commitment to giving back. He supports TLC’s mission of creating meaningful opportunities for Hawaiʻi’s youth and families through athletics, wellness, education, leadership, and community engagement.

For Sam, success is built through relationships, consistency, teamwork, and simply being there for young people. His commitment to coaching and community reflects TLC’s belief that some of the greatest impacts we make happen by showing up, giving back, and helping the next generation succeed.
